Drubahaal - The Movie (2012)

The movie made from the videoclips of the album Drubahaal, by the portuguese band Droban-Apherna. The story takes place in the final days of the year 2012, around the romanian accountant Karl Droban, which is led out of his simple routine into a dangerous adventure, through secret rumours and reports of an Apocalýpse.

The movie's purpose was to elaborate and bring to life and image the musical ideas expressed in the third album (Drubahaal) by Droban-Apherna, which was dedicated to the theme of classic videogames. Because of this, the videogame Minecraft was an obvious choice for shooting the movie, due to it's vintage 8-bit look. The movie was shot almost entirely in the videogame Minecraft with the rare exceptions of the "game" menu.
